"Hey man, do you mind if I take your picture, I'm trying to document everything I can for our college class reunion?" the cab driver answered without a word, a pause, or even a second thought but he did answer with a smile, a warmth and a genuine friendliness that seems to ooze from most people you meet pretty much wherever you go.
Averaging about 4 hours sleep a day for the past three days somehow seemed like deja vu being back in columbus, ohio for the first time in 26 years and the adrenaline and excitement I was feeling buried any desire for sleep which somehow seemed normal, quite familiar and just like home.
